turelhim vampire
Looking great so far, keep us updated! Great idea with the head swap on Brother Lorenzo - was that easy to do? A small question if I may - how many parts does the Gabriel Seth model come in? Crazy Eight
the head swap was easy just have to be careful cutting it out i drilled most of it out then just went round the edge with a fine craft knife . seth comes in 4 parts th arms dont line up to well but with a bit of bending they fit ok . Thanks for the comments hopefully update tuesday Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199458-flesh-tearers-the-beginning-of-an-army/#findComment-2375847 Share on other sites

Crazy Eight
Brother mikhail to answer youre question the combi melta is a slightly converted commander combi melta . Thank you brother whitefireinferno i dont suppose u could give me some pointers as to colour of trophies and chains as u say they are not fond of bling i do not wish to pimp my marines up i like the gritty dirty used battle worn look . Whitefireinferno
Well so far for My stuff chest Aqulla have been black with a light drybrush of Fortress grey then Badab black wash over that and most of the metal has been boltgun with Mithril highlights then a layer of Delvan mud. However I put a little bit of Bling on Seth well the wings on his pack/wing on left pad/belt buckle/left kneepad and the small chalice on his neck chain were done in Shining gold then washed with delvan mud then highlighted that with Boltgun then highlighted that with mithril then a couple of coats of thinned delvan mud. And ANY studs/rivets on everything have been done in Mithril silver. If you wanna check them out try either of the links in my sig. Wicksy
Looks like its coming on nicely. However, the armour on the terminators looks a little patchy. I'm not sure whether it an artifact of the pictures or you dont have enough paint layers. A good rule of thumb is to apply thin coats until the colour is totally opaque. Then the next layer can be applied and so forth. Scrimping on layers makes your highlights and top coats to dark and dirty looking.
