Crazy Eight Posted April 24, 2010 Author Share Posted April 24, 2010 the head swap was easy just have to be careful cutting it out i drilled most of it out then just went round the edge with a fine craft knife . seth comes in 4 parts th arms dont line up to well but with a bit of bending they fit ok . Whitefireinferno Posted April 24, 2010 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Well so far for My stuff chest Aqulla have been black with a light drybrush of Fortress grey then Badab black wash over that and most of the metal has been boltgun with Mithril highlights then a layer of Delvan mud. However I put a little bit of Bling on Seth well the wings on his pack/wing on left pad/belt buckle/left kneepad and the small chalice on his neck chain were done in Shining gold then washed with delvan mud then highlighted that with Boltgun then highlighted that with mithril then a couple of coats of thinned delvan mud. Crazy Eight Posted May 1, 2010 Author Share Posted May 1, 2010 wanted to update you all but camera has decided to stop takin pictures so itl be a verbal update Ok have started some detail work on termis well first 1 anyways its going ok but slow as my detail painting is a bit rough and im tryin to make it as clean as possible . ive also managed to get some characters primed but no detail work and 3 rhino chassis and 1 baal pred all primed and 3 coats of red so all in all a nice selection just very slow going hope to get new camera or get current 1 fixed by next week fingers crossed then itl be picture time :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got a bit bored of painting the other day and saw my 2 boxes of death company just sitting there waiting to be built so i have a crack at a few. Wicksy Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Looks like its coming on nicely. However, the armour on the terminators looks a little patchy. I'm not sure whether it an artifact of the pictures or you dont have enough paint layers. A good rule of thumb is to apply thin coats until the colour is totally opaque. Then the next layer can be applied and so forth. Scrimping on layers makes your highlights and top coats to dark and dirty looking. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
