Devastators and Heay Weapons

I was wanting to add in a dev squad and assault squad into my sable swords to bulk it up to 2K pts. However I rely on DP's /DS units or Attack bikes so a static unit would not fit my army. I have been exploring the dev entry and came up with the following-

 

x10 man, 2x ML, Sarge w/fist + combi weapon, DP= 270pts (I think, SM dex not handy)

 

Pricy considering what it can do compared to a scoring DP tac squad or pedro scoring DP stern guard. I could use this squad to deny one objective, then grab 2 others and grab/contest the remaining one. Its like a heavy tac squad, with about the same survivabilty. Obviously it has its flaws- No special to shoot when you land but you don't want to be that close anyway, combi kind of adresses that though, non scoring obviously ect. Will explore this idea some more. :D
