So, spring is upon us, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and children frolic in the streets. Disgusting isn't it? So in the spirit of my utter revulsion, I have decided to begin an army dedicated to the most joyous of all Chaos gods, good ol' Nurgle. Having borrowed a (fairly bad) digital camera from a friend, I decided to share the beginnings of this force with all other repulsive patrons of the plague lord to see what you all think. Not a lot is done yet, but my work will be cut out for me with 10 FW plague marines and a land raider with FW doors in the mail ;)

Thanks for the kind words, funny that a Wolf of all people would be the only one to respond ;) . As for the termi kit, it was certainly worth it in my case as I managed to snag the plastic components with lightning claws and the FW upgrade kit for $55 including shipping on ebay which was a total steal.

As far as FW in general, well FW is basically designer Warhammer, you don't really *need* it but boy does it look good. I actually just got my FW plague marines in the mail this morning and spent a couple hours assembling a few of them when I got home, if anything I now regret having bought any metal models because the FW sculpts are completely amazing, and painting metal is the bane of my existence.

As for my color scheme it's pretty basic. Black undercoat, coat of catachan green, thin coat of camo green, rotting flesh drybrush, rotting flesh highlight, ~60/40 water/flesh wash. Getting the wash right is the only part that can be a little hit or miss and if you mess it up it's a pain to go back and fix, otherwise it's fast and easy, easier than Iron Warriors in my opinion.
