Shrike question

Cornelias

Recommended Posts

The question Cornelius is effectively asking is "can an Independent Character join a unit of a different type, such as an infantry captain join a bike squad?"

As Cedric confirms, yes they can.

A biker captain can join a jump pack squad in the same manner.

Joining and leaving units is a function of where they start and finish their moves, how they roll, run or jump doesn't come into it. An infantry IC 2" in front of an assault squad could move 6", the jumpers jump 12" over him, and as long as the last guy to jump is still within 2" the IC will still be in the unit.

Yes, he can join any unit during deployment that he could join during the game.

So bikers... tacticals... devastators... scouts... assault terminators.... etc.

But not say a Dreadnaught, or a *god forbid* Carnifex.

Actualy carnifex can be joined now, they are no longer units that allways consist of only one model.
