jjfelber
Can I move a rhino 12" and disembark? If this not true, what page is the rule on? Wolf Lord Hallbjorn
I don't see why you can't disembark from a rhino after it moves 12". It sounds to me as if you've recently had a debate that I had a while ago with a new player in my local group. They read the rule stating that models can't disembark from a vehicle that moved flat out. "Flat out" is a special movement speed that only fast vehicles can even do, which a rhino is not. Grey Mage
JJ, dont put up titles like that, ok? Anyways, to answer your question- you can, but they cannot assault. The rules for a unit not being able to disembark at a particular speed are under the fast vehicle rules, a couple pages past transports... pg. 70 I believe. Note it does say you cant shoot if you move over 6", and that you count as moving if the vehicle your in moved. But thats in the normal transports area on page 67 IIRC. Silverwolf
Yeh what Grey said :P. If Vehicle; Hasn't Moved - Infantry can disembark and move / shoot / assault as normal, Vehicle may also move / shoot as normal once infantry has disembarked Moved <6" - Infantry may fire out of vehicle (if fire-ports on vehicle) - Can choose to disembark but may then only shoot that turn - not assault (unless vehicle has assault ramps) Moved 6" to 12" - Infantry can disembark and shoot, but not assault (unless vehicle has assault ramps) - Note NO infantry inside the vehicle may fire if vehicle has moved more then 6" Moved over 12" - Infantry cannot disembark Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199917-what-page/#findComment-2381429 Share on other sites

Grey Mage
Can you give an actual rule for that Ramses? It has nothing to do with the type of weapon.... passengers simply cannot assault out of a transport that moves at cruising speed. TDA gives relentless rule. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199917-what-page/#findComment-2382023 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Yes, but relentless doesnt override the restriction on passengers shooting. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/199917-what-page/#findComment-2382416 Share on other sites
Silverwolf
No infantry can shoot after moving more then 6", this over-rides relentless. Relentless is simply that an infantry model can move and shoot with a heavy weapon, no infantry can move OVER 6", and then fire a weapon. Therefore, even a relentless Termie (Which can't fit in any vehicles with fire-ports anyway...) cannot shoot out of a vehicle after it has moved more then 6"... even they are to busy hanging on to whatever support is in the vehicle to avoid falling over and getting knocked around inside once the vehicle is moving that fast.
