Adeptus Assassins

Hello all, I have begun working on an Iron Hands/Ad Mech allied force, with the Ad Mech being represented by rules from the WH codex. I have already done several conversions, and I have begun to lean towards a heretical bent with my army, with a few necron limbs swapped here and there (one of my devastators actually carries a gauss weapon that has replaced an arm). Flayed one claws are also present on some of my vets to represent power weapons.

That being the case, I have a Magos Errant that serves as my inquistor lord, with a happy little retinue of warriors and familiars. I have procured a FW rogue psyker to represent a poor shmuck who was in the process of becoming a pariah when the AM interevened.

As far as crunch goes, he's a Culexus assassin, but I really don't have a reason to field the guy, due to a lack of psychically inclined foes in my part of the galaxy.

So now I am wondering what would be a good assassin to use, and how to represent it in a non-traditional manner. The only thing that I can think of is possibly an Eversor that is modeled like a Maletech Stalker from Dark Heresy.

Any thoughts or pointers would be welcome!

Well, the Callidus could be represented by holofields and audio processing technology I suppose.

The Vindicare could be represented as where the gun and the man have been merged (IE wires leading from the eyes to the scope, the gun actually part of his arm)

Death Cult Assasins could be represented by something akin to Arco-Flaggelents. Whip limbs and drug dispensers. Disposable heros

Dont forget the Evisors, they could be the Electro-priests mention in the first of the Souldrinkers Novels.

Interesting ideas! I am leaning toward the Callidus, since I really like the idea of moving around an enemy unit at the begining of the game. I like the pseudo-arco flagellant thing for the Death Cult too- any ideas on how to model these things?

Oh, and Captian Karnivor, I have not read Souldrinkers- what do electro priests look like?

You mean the remiare. I remember these from the collected visions of heresy and mechanicum. John Blanche made some fantastic art work for these.

I remember they have a flying discus, a holo-field, pistol weapons and a eversor like claw.

Very freaky. I think a calidus assassine could be suitable for a count as.
