Nihilus Aquilus
Okay, so I started writing a Codex for my Chapter, and decided that it would be easiest to start with my first and favorite model, my termy Chaplain. Here's his rules, in accordance with the fluff I've written for my Chapter. To be honest, it's gonna kill me in points, but the rules are still pretty darn good. High Chaplain Draeco - 275 points. WS BS S T W I A Ld. Sv. 5 5 4 4 2 5 3 10 2+(4+inv.) Unit Composition - 1 Chaplain Draeco(Unique) 1-2 Lesser Chaplains Unit type - Infantry Wargear: Bronze Armour of Ultimus(Teleport Homer, 4+inv.) Crozius Arcanum Storm Bolter Special Rules- -Liturgies of Battle -Honour of the Chapter -Eternal Warrior -The Blessed Tribunal(Draeco MUST have at least 1 lesser Chaplain in his retinue, that he MUST keep in coherency, at a cost of 25 points each. If all of the lesser Chaplains are defeated, Draeco becomes an Independent Character.) -Bringer of Purification(Enemies that are being assaulted by Draeco lose 1 Initiative on the turn of the assault.) -Inspiring Presence(+1 Ini. to any unit within 6'' of Draeco.) Lesser Chaplains: WS BS S T W I A Ld. Sv. 5 4 4 5 1 4 2 8 3+ All rules of a Space Marine, but wielding power swords. High Chaplain Draeco was once a Lesser Chaplain under the traitor High Chaplain Narcissus. After the Scouring of Pandorius, he was made High Chaplain by Master Sabbaticus for his unwavering faith and ferocity against his traitor brothers. For the next half century, he traveled from system to system, completely eradicating the traitor Ravens, known as the Sons of Vanity. He has become a figure of high esteem in the Bronze Ravens, and the Lesser Chaplains in his retinue are some of the best marines the Chapter has. Draeco always leads his brothers into the thickest of battle, slaying anyone in his way. After a century of constant battle, Draeco's relentlessness in battle and his intense faith in the Emperor has never faltered, and he remains one of the Imperium's most capable warriors. Saric
You should also say what happens to Draco when all of the Lesser Chaplins are defeated. Your rules say he requires one so what happens when they are all gone? Nihilus Aquilus
Why do you point my flaws out, Daniel? Good point though. I guess I gotta come up with something. Thraxen
Maybe have the first Chaplain included in his points cost, but have the extra as costing a bit more? Nihilus Aquilus
I hadn't thought of that. That's a really good idea, thanks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/200029-my-bronze-ravens-chaplain/#findComment-2425003 Share on other sites
