so I went back to working on my TWC finally and they're progressing!

The butiful thing is that they are Tourney Legal since they're GW products to begin with.

Used 2 different models as base for the TW ; first I used the Lions from the HighElf chariot. Worked out good as you can see. Did fur on the whole model, a new tail and also elongated the snout a little.

Then I used the Ogre Kingdom Sabertusk that come with the Ogre Hunter. Again did fur and snout , as you can see I went back to give it more mass in the neck area and pointy ears since it seemed a little skinny beside my other two ( the lion ones )

I was not happy with my tails but I'm working on a new batch and I got the tails perfect now! more of that later.

Lots of green stuff later...this is what you get! Enjoy ( comment are welcome! ) If someone wants some I will make 'em for them pretty quick(non-painted or painted) and I live in Montreal so it's not as hard to ship as from oversea for those that live in North America.

The first one does look like the cover of the SW heresy book,

Nice GS skills. What I would be interested in is a tutorial for the GS fur you have done. I cant GS fur for love nor money

If you would have written this an hour earlier I would have been able to give you guys a nice Tutorial on GS fur... But... the TW is not done yet So I just might give you one still tomorow with the fur in the neck area and head.

The important thing I learned is to go step by step starting from the rear of the model.

You start with a basic piece of GS that you install for the tail core( tail core: rod shaped piece of GS that is thiner than the finished tail that you give the shape and let harden) when this piece is fully harden now you do one half of the fur on the tail( otherwise your fingers keep smushing the other side) once that side is hard, move to the other side.

Than again you start on side that you GS all over and start making the fur from the front on the model toward the rear.

**** the best way to make fur is to start toward the front of the model on the GS moving rearward. Start with little straight lines about 2mm long and once the whole area is covered, you start making random small lines that are overlaping the straight ones you already did. ****

I'll be taking pictures tomorrow of the tech.
