Lords of Twilight

[Corsair]

Hi all,

 

I just want to quickly mention that I am a lover of fluff first, a modeller second, and a painter an incredibly distant third.

 

With that in mind, these photos are actually quite old (and taken with a garbage camera to boot), but it is only now that I have developed the guts to actually post these up on the B&C as part of my overall move to actually follow through and finish what I start (see the Librarium or my sig for more examples of that new attitude, hah!)

 

Anyway, the following models were painted using the Viva Metallica method as found on this site - consider all of these WIP (many have been touched up since these were taken):

Pretty good, nice force spear/glaive on the librarian.

 

I can just picture a gears cutscene showing the members of the carmine family, at first there's just loads of privates and then at the end there's a space marine. :lol:

That's all for now.

 

Most of these guys have been touched up, based, varnished, etc (desert bases). The scout squad has since been finished, but apart from them and a couple of test minis for a Chaos army...well let's just say I've been very slack.

You should try to take the pictures with better lighting. The best thing would probably be a Photobox. There's a great tutorial over at Massive Voodoo: Photo setup tutorial

 

It looks like you have some nice ideas and conversions, but it is next to impossible to see them on the pictures. <_<

Thanks guys - yeah, the photos were taken hastily with a mobile phone quite some time ago; my guys aren't currently at my place, or I'd do a better job.

 

I'm planning on retaking them anyway, as quite a few of the models have been changed or completed since. Thanks for the link as well, I'll give that a go.
