Space Wolves (Found my Camera!)

May 3rd, Update 1

 

First up is one of my Grey Hunters. I still have to add a holster and ccw to him somewheres, finish the base, and if I can work up the nerve, paint his eyes.

Next I have my Wolf Guard Pack Leader. Originally he was going to lead my scouts but since I wont be working on them for some time he'll be in charge of the Grey Hunters. I've still got some work to do (like adding shoulder pads) on him but so far I'm really liking the way he's turning out. As you can see from all the bionics he had a nasty encounter with a tyranid critter.

These guys are cool, I like the we're going to look cool rather than sensible guy, but damn that wolf guard is either extremely stupid or unlucky!

that wolf guard reaaaly makes me want to do a few Iron hands conversions again. daaamn.

 

Even though it's "only" a clever kitbash, I love it.

 

 

one crit though; I think you should give them a round with the GW washes, they would really benefit from the added depth. Maybe even the armypainter quickshade, as long as you give them a matte varnish at the end <_<

Yeah, I've been working on giving them some shading using badab black but right now I'm just trying to get my base coats down. I think once I finish the two squads, lone wolf, and rune priests base coats I'll go back and shade/highlight the whole lot at once.

 

To be honest though I'm having more fun just kit bashing from my bits box :)
