sign of the wolf

Hello, I am currently reading the first space wolf omnibus and it mentions that they give each other the sign of the wolf. I got the impression it was their own version of the double handed Aquila gesture. I was trying to figure this out, I thought it might be the classic dog shadow puppet, but that just sounds cheesy. Anyone out there know what the correct way to show this?

I am going to go out on a limb and assume that the mighty Space Wolves are not running around giving each other "The Shocker" lol

Though that would explain all of the howling and fighting that goes on. Svegarsvenson-"Hrolf... look over there..." "Gotcha!" AAAAHHHOOOOOO!!!! Hrolf-"You shall pay for that boy!"

The "Shocker" explains all the "Shield Maidens of Fenris Gone Wild" videos going around the internet.

Could be a one-handed version of that, perhaps. You can pretty much get across the "wolf" with just the right hand in that picture. It seems a *little* less silly if it isn't a two-handed gesture.

As an alternative, perhaps some sort of runic gang-sign?
