Stu Phoenix
Hey guys, I've lerked around in here admiring and learning from you all for a while now so I thought I'd become a full fedged member of the forum and start posting some. I though I'd start by showing my Captain Stern of the Grey Knights, nothing special paint scheme wise other than the cloak. Secondly is my first foray into converting/using greenstuff, His name is Knight Commander Wallace, hes made from assorted bitz I had sitting around, with the tabbard cape and scroll on his halberd made of greenstuff (its tricky stuff to use :)) I plan to get a GK terminator squad next when I can rustle together some money but for now I'm currently painting these 2 fine fellows, the reason I'm not painting the rest of the squad is due to a backpack shortage (long story short: car paint stripper melts plastic *facepalm*). Anyway I hope you enjoyed viewing my models, emperor protect you all and good day!
faol
Nicely done and welcome ^-^ some of you paints seem a bit thick in some places but it may be how the picture was taken it may be me. The detail on the scrolls and on the shield is very nice, great attention to detail :)
