Dhx711
Here's the senerio: CSM Rhino proforms a 12" ram on a Predator with no resulting damage to either tank. Can the occupants on the rhino then dismark? The book doesn't really say one way or the other. Thanks for the help. JamesI
If the ramming vehicle moves 12 inches or less, the passengers should be able to disembark. They probably want to if the driver of their tank is starting to ram everything nearby! Mordekiem
It does not mention anything special about passengers under tank shock/ramming so you use the basic rules. So yes, you could tank shock/ram 12" and then have the passengers hop out. It is worth noting that it is pretty much impossible to get a 12" ram from a vehicle that can move 12". You have to move a full 12" to get a ram of that strength and you can't move farther. So that means the target has to be perfectly 12" away. Usually you will be a little less or a little more. Morticon
Dhx - ive noticed recently how many are under the mistaken impression you cant shoot or dismount etc after you have tank shocked. Yup yup, as mentioned above, nothing prohibits it. SeattleDV8
Of course you can have the odd instance with a fast ramming vehicle (or tank shocking over 12") That an IC could not embark with an embarked unit (BRB Pg 70) but the embarked unit could disembark if the ram/tank shock was stopped before 12".
