Wolf Lord Mjolnir
Well I am still alive and have managed to cobble together a very work in progress version of Arjac Rockfist, what do you think? This is probably more a proof of concept model at this stage. The sword will become a hammer once I find the right one - currently in eBay bid for Warrior priest with Great hammer. Sorry for the quality of pics but I need sleep. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/Mjolnir81/DSCN0073.jpg# http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/Mjolnir81/DSCN0072.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/Mjolnir81/DSCN0071.jpg I want to: Add a belt Add the hammer Customise the shield Make the wolf pelt bigger Generally tidy him up Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201315-enter-arjac/ Share on other sites

Bulweih
Wow....that's the best I've seen so far. I like the lower legs in particular. I hope that my mate who promised to look for an anvil from his fantasy dwarfes for me, finds sth. like that in his bitzbox :D , nice job. Is that the shield of Lysander btw.?Also, are those Shoulder Pads made of bended plastic-card? Wolf Lord Mjolnir
Yes I am using the shield of Lysander but will be filing off the detail and replacing it with wolf symbols and stuff like that. Shoulder pads are made from Tamiya oil drums from the jerry can kit. My blog has more pics of my Pre Horus Heresy army. Bulweih
:D ....while I don't have the time right now, I'll give it a good look later. Let me just say it's stunning to the core. Thanks for the tip. stinkenheim
if you can have a look at the Dwarf Engineer with Great Weapon. Its mechanical hammer with runes near the end of the head. its a bit more 'low tech' in feel whilst stll being suitably sci-fi and funky enough that it can represent a special thunder hammer. its also got a more experimental, 'not-quite-finished' sort of look that should lend itself well to the pre-heresy army. i only reccommend it because the WP hammer is very small, it would look fine on a power armoured marine but don't think it would look right on a terminator. the conversion is really nice, i love the bulkiness of the armour. what are you going to do with the shield? are you filing the front down, or will you greenstuff over it? i can't wait to see it finished, good work dude. MagneticFreak
Very nice work. I like the ''boots'' very much. I also used an Anvil from the Dwarf warrior banner for my Arjac! Bulweih
Hello again, very nice pre-heresy force you got there, awesome! I really like the bulk of the Terminators and the special efforts you put in every model. Have some Ale on me!Btw. your raider's name is FREKI :D , which is another good example for the thoughts put in this project. *Thumps up all the way* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201315-enter-arjac/#findComment-2398567 Share on other sites

Xeenos
Hahhahaa awsome use of sholder pads to buff out the legs there, and the old Chaos Warrior sholders for the knees, i belive. *thumbs up* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201315-enter-arjac/#findComment-2398823 Share on other sites
Wolf Lord Mjolnir
@ Stinkenheim - I'm not too sure on the dwarf hammer but thanks for suggesting it, I will check it out some more. I think I will first try and file the shield done to remove the details and then build some new details on using space wolf bits. Wolf Lord Hallbjorn
Very cool conversion. I made mine out of wolf guard terminator bits. I cut part of the handle out of a thunder hammer since the picture of Foehammer looked a lot like Mjolnir to me. I used a rhino side door for his shield and glued it onto a shaved power fist. I figured a shield that big would need some support. Then I just glued a bunch of wolfy bits to the shield. I have to get my hands on that anvil bit, though. That looks perfect. old git
"and the old Chaos Warrior sholders for the knees, i belive. " They're shoulder pads from the marine command squad sprue, the ones usually seen on the company champion.
