Bishoujo
So, right now I'm more of a Grey Knights player than anything else - and I'm waiting for an eventual (hopefully) Sisters codex before I build that army. Rumors are that the entire Sisters of Battle model line is being re-worked. I'm worried about them changing the exorcist model. I really like the current model, and hate the forge-world whirlwind style one. I'm thinking of buying a trio of exorcists and just setting them aside in my closet for a year or two until we get a new codex. My logic is that if they (assuming they re-do the model) make the new exorcists look worse (in my opinion) than the current one - I'll have 3 of the one I like waiting for me. And if they make a new one that looks better, I can just use the current ones as rhinos or something. Is it silly for me to get these kits now? Should I just wait and see what happens? Or would it be wise for me to set aside the models I like - just in case? Canoness Starkova
I'd held off for awhile, but I've picked up 2 myself recently. The pipe organ exorcist is one of the best vehicle models GW has ever done IMO, too bad the metal pieces usually don't fit quite right, lots of work and pinning to get it right. WarriorFish
Is the Exo to be rising in price in the imminent increase? If so you should get them before. GW has done great jobs remodelling into plastic though (the LRC being an excellent example), so I'd expect them to remake the Exo in all it's glory in plastic. They don't tend to radically change the models but it depends on how much you fear a change for the worse compared to your finances. It is a bit of a pig to assemble though. So overall not silly at all if you think it's worth it. For the record, I don't think our codex is that far away - some time next year methinks.
