sniperous Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Hi all, This is my first Blood Angel Dreadnought that i'm making up, i need to explain that although its blood angel's they haven't got the ALL red colouring instead it looks kinda more Death Company like, i don't know if in future that i'll make my own successor chapter or not but, what you see here is the first foundation colour's that i've applied what i need help with it what colours to go on top of the foundation colours to make it stand out more etc, ie from mech red to blood red. Just like to clear it up that it is a Furiso Dreadnought with Blood talon's that ive bashed together on a ironclad model. For highlighting try mixing Blood Red with Blazing Orange and then working towards pure Blazing Orange. If you want to go a stage further you could add some Kommando Khaki to the Blazing Orange for an ultra fine highlight on bitz like the corners of the sarcophagus.
