Jim AMM realgenius
I'm doing a slightly modified Marines Exemplar color scheme and here's Chaplain Salvatore WIP: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1330/4609229924_b2211bc534.jpg http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1240/4608624345_89ddd117f3.jpg He needs some metallics work, basing and some more details, but he's coming along. Asrech
Looks like he is in for a good start! I like that you did the entire helmet in white instead of just the face. I did everything except the "mohawk"-band in white, leaving the trim black. I think this ties in better with chaplains as just a white face is more LotD. One of the best models GWs made for SM and a pure delight to paint, actally working on my own as I type :) Looking forward to seeing more brother. Cheers! Tyrannicide
I've always been intrigued by the Marines Exemplar and it's nice to see the mysterious Chapter represented every now and then. I'm eager to see this finished, as your painting is top-notch. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201640-marines-exemplar-chaplain/#findComment-2402307 Share on other sites
Lord Tybault
Ah, the number of brothers grows... seems I'll finally have to make some pictures of my models, I guess. Although I don't think ANY chaplain would overpaint a part of his armor EVER and that only the shoulder pad would show the chapter's colors. Probably true, but after painting a Black Templar army I'm tired of models that are just black. I needed some variety. In fact, I'm deviating from the normal black-red color scheme and adding in some bone/white because I think it is otherwise too dark.
