The carving of the shoulderpad for the psychic hoods look great and not that hard to achieve with a few shoulderpads of practice. I like them a lot!

I was looking for some ideas and tips for my own jump pack conversion librarian as the start of a new army (both practice model for look and feel and focal point for the future army) and these tips will really help.

These are some great examples.

Adding some guitar wire can really help with the hood too, I added some after the photo of mine (and a few other bits and bobs) Painting is pretty much finished now I'll post him up when I get a chance :HQ:

EDIT 31/5/10

Okay I got bored tonight and finished him & the base:-

More in my WIP thread in my sig :Elite:

EDIT 2/6/10

Got my ass in gear and chopped the fangs after all the uproar!

Very cool conversion Midnight, and a nice paintjob for the eye's and "soon-to-be-emerging-psi-fire-of-death" from his palm. My only niggle (personal preference only, nothing more :P ) is that the fangs look a little large and protrubing for my tastes. Still, kudos for the effort on something that looks bloody fiddly :D

I'll get better close-up pics in due course, but here's my JP Libby I finished a couple of nights ago. I've always loved the model and a bit of kit-bashing made him that much more enjoyable to paint.
