MrFortunato
Well, here they are  My very first space marines. I haven't added decals as yet as you can see... i'll do that when all my 10 combat squad are painted... Anway, some of you may recal recently i was asking how to paint a quick & easy ultra scheme to table-top standard, despite all of the advise, i made it up as i went along really  Anywho, have i achieved my goal of table-top ultras? http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/yy304/MrFortunato/Ultramarines4thCoCombatsquad001.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/yy304/MrFortunato/Ultramarines4thCoCombatsquad003.jpg Any tips for improvement are also appreciated! Thraxen
They look good. They may be a bit stunted in a fight though, I'm not sure invisible boltguns are tournament-legal. Nice to see some Ultras that aren't from the second company.
Liquid_awesomes
looks good. i would try to paint those highlights thinner t make them look more realistic but apart from that very good guys.

Walter Payton
Very good so far. If I had to make a critique, it would be that they seem a bit too light for Ultramarines. Maybe a Badab Black wash? Of course, it could just be the picture.
MrFortunato
It's a bit of both really... one has the flash on, one doesn't... can't tell which really ^_^ Thanks for the critique guys, got more responses on Tau Online (i'm a dirty Xenos player at heart really...) maint things were thick highlights, & some inconsistencies with the armour, which was soon solved with another coat of ultra blue... I actually prefer a brighter army this time round... all of my others are relatively dark, so it makes a nice change to do something simple but bright... and with minimal effort. The main colour for the armour is ultra blue, which i think is a fantastic colour! Did the sergeant too, red helmet, green laurel (call it a reward for heroism e.g. single-handedly saving a civillian family from some gene-stealers...with his bare hands) and green lenses... love him!
