Brother-Captain Laen
Hello everyone to my WiP thread. I'll be starting this as soon as the new codex releases and models become available. However, I have a few sisters models that I will be test painting and other models that I will be painting in the process of gearing up for my 4000+ point Inquisition force. This is going to be a huge undertaking for myself and I just wanted to share it with someone. I wanted to build a force that could represent all the forces available to my inquisition lord at a given time and take photos of it all together. I doubt I will ever have the time or patience to field the entire army, but it gives me options. And I like having options. Why post my WiP here? Because it is an Inquisition force first and foremost. I am starting to write up a back story for Inquisitor Lord Raphael and am in the process of decking out a blog about it as well. I'll will post a link to the blog when I become satisfied with the way it looks. I am planing on basing everything on imperial city marble floors with cherry blossoms blowing around on the ground. Starting small and building up. I'll be starting with my Black Templar contingent first as I have the models available and want to get started on something soon. I'll be waiting for the new Inquisition books before I build up those parts of the army and will start filling in the Imperial Guard after the Black Templars. Once those are done I am hoping the new codex and model range will be released. If not, I will start working on painting the schemes so that when they are released I can chain paint them up quickly. I will update with photos when ever I am able to. ..--== Inquisitor Lord Raphael + Retinue ==--.. --== Grey Knights ==-- Brother-Captain Laen Terminator Squad Svac Squad Hsriam Squad Grimon -= Sisters of the Fallen Blossom =- Cannoness Demona Seraphim Squad Brenda Battle Sister Squad Stephine Battle Sister Squad Janice -= Black Templars =- Captain Ingar Emperor's Champion Damocles -= Catachan 101st Air Calvary =- More to come later. Please be patient. This is going to take quite some time to muster everything up. It will end up being splendid however. Gyson_Vore
Looks like an interesting project, but I am afraid you can't post the Catachan pics here even if they are part of a PA force, as they themselves don't wear PA. Inquisitor =D=
Actually... they are allowed provided that they are part of your inquisitor's battlegroup. Though in truth people tend to scorn everything thats not a space-marine. (Its a wonder the daemons are still on this board...) =]D[= Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201812-inquisitorial-force-raphael/#findComment-2404500 Share on other sites
Brother-Captain Laen
Scorned or not, an Inquisitor makes use of what he needs to defend the imperium of mankind. Sometimes all you need is a lowly servitor to thwart the plans of chaos and sometimes you need a titan. I feel that posting them here under the command of my Inquisitor Lord should be allowed as they are in service to the inquisition at the time. It is also allowed by our rule book. Inquisitor Fox
The exact ruling, as per the sticky at the top of our forum (+ Inquisitorial mandate - Forum Rules +) is as follows: Discussion of any units in the Codex: Daemonhunters, Codex: Witchhunters and Codex: Xenoshunters (when released) are acceptable. Also allowed are discussions about allied Space Marines or inducted Imperial Guard. Note: if you can't take it in a valid Inquisitorial armylist, you can't discuss it here (so discussing a Basilisk for example, isn't allowed). Painting, converting and artwork: everything painting, converting or artwork-related about inducted Imperial Guard units is to be posted in the *Ordos Inquisition* section of the board, not in the PC&A. Army list reviews: same thing here. Basically, everything from the Imperial Guard spotted passed the boundaries of the *Ordos Inquisition* will be dealt with with extreme prejudice. This includes options from ForgeWorld (i.e., Valkyries purchased as transports for IST squads as per IA2) as long as they're part of a legal Inquisition parent-army. Discussion of the units of the 'air cavalry' will have to conform to the induction rules as listed in our codices, with only those units being able to be discussed or posted. Brother-Captain Laen
So, you did a really good job of confusing me there. I'll have to read my codices again... but since some people here are already in the know.. I can take Valks for my Inducted IG Vets right? My apologies if this is not allowed. I am about 1800 miles from my codices for another 48 hours. Inquisitor Fox
Valk's as transports for DH or WH ISTs per IA2 yes, Valks as an Imperial Guard choice no.. as they're a Fast Attack selection that is not listed in the "By the Authority of the Emperor" rules for induction. That and if I recall no Imperial Guard unit has them as a transport option... If it's not on the Induction list, it may not be dealt with on the B&C... those are the rules we have.
