n00b in need
So i've decided to field a lost Company, their back story as i've written it so far (a short version anyways, i'll post my whole short story once i've finished it) is as follows: The Lost Company of Steingrim Skullsplitter was lost to the warp some 200 years before Logan Grimnar rose to the throne of the Great Wolf. When they left for what was to be a very long journey through the warp their entire company went aboard the ship The Rage of Fenris with songs of battle and glory on their lips. Glory was not to be theirs however as just a few days into there expedition a massive warp storm abruptly tore through the Immaterium and took The Rage of Fenris with it. This storm has raged at the edge of Space Wolf territory for some 700 years cutting the wolves of from the farthest edges of the galaxy. When news reached the Great Wolf of the lose of a whole Company the Fang and the entire chapter went into a period of morning for the lose of such a heroic Company. "For what heroes the likes of the Space Wolves deserve such a fate," they would say. "Wolves should die in glory on the battle field not in the warp." But the warp storm is ending, the way is now clear, and the fate of lost heroes is about to be revealed when a merchant ship is almost hit by a ship leaving the warp. The Captain of the ship is shocked to see that the ships path is taking it straight out of the storm! How this could be remains a mystery until the ships navigator reveals that the storm has dissipated, but warns that this ship may not be friendly. With the navigators warning in mind the captain moves his ship out of the way of the on comeing massive ship. He and his Crew watch in amazement as an Imperial Battle Barge tears through into the material realm. "Scan that ship!" ordered Captain Krasis, he wanted to know who he was dealing with before he hailed them. "Sir, their hailing us already!" "What?" exclaimed Krasis. "How do they know we're here already! We should have had at least a couple minutes to prepare ourselves." "I'm patching it through the Pict-Vox now Captain," said the young crew man. As the crewman at the comms station connected them to the mystery vessel the crewman at the sensor station finished his scan and reported, "Captain its The Rage of Fenris! It was lost to the warp storm almost a thousand years ago!" "Weapons ready lads, we don't know what that long in the warp has done to 'em. Even Astrates can be mutated by the warp," Krasis warned his crew. Thats just the start i'll post the rest later once i've decided how this little meeting will go =D but tell me what you think fellow members of the Fang! Niiai
How will you field the army? As blood angels or SW? (All SW models of course.) How will you field the army? As blood angels or SW? n00b in need
thank you for the support brothers, and yes this is the story of my army, and they will be fielded as Space Wolves, and since they are not the actual 13th company just a lost company, they will be normal Space Wolves. The Only difference is that i'll only have one pack of Blood Claws since the entire company survived the ordeal in the warp, and they only had one pack of blood claws when they left, and i'm useing Chaos Warhounds as fenrisian wolves because the wolves were mutated by there time in the warp, while the rune priests of the company (rather strong one's, one of them is Njal, but with a different name) where able to protect the company they were unable to do so for the wolves that accompanied them. Also i'm using my Rune Priests all as Master's of the Runes to represent that they were made all the stronger by spending some 700 years in the warp =D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/201933-my-13th-company-and-their-pet-wolves/#findComment-2406513 Share on other sites

Unless your VERY stuck on having them, then have them all be Grey Hunters.
