Seriously though, I think it really depends on where you're from. The correct pronounciation can only be obtainable from the staff at Games Workshop headquarters, and even then.

Arbites isn't a recognised word in the dictionary (though Arbiter is) so everyone should be free to make their own assumption as to how to pronounce it. It's all preference and common sense in this case. Common sense because no one would pronounce arbites as sounding like 'turnip' or 'monkey', though 'space fuzz' maybe acceptable.

On reflection, it makes sense to me that if you're referencing to the Adeptus Arbites, and trying out the whole pseudo-Latin thing, then it should be "Are-bit-ess", or if youre going to say "Look out! Here come the Arbites!" then it should be "Are-bites."
