Sparhawk
I'll be playing a friend's Tau army today so I just took a minute to glance through the Tau Codex and noticed something interesting. In the description of the Crisis Suits on page 27 it states that the suit counts as stationary when firing rapid fire weapons but actually must remain stationary to use Heavy weapons. I know that having a jet pack confers relentless as per the BRB (pg 52) and I also know that Codex trumps BRB but the BRB mentions the Tau so I feel like I'm in a sort of quandry. Do I go by Codex: Tau or by the BRB in this situation? Or is there no contradiction at all so the whole argument is a non-starter? I've always played it as the BRB states it and I'm not trying to nerf a friend I just want to make sure that we're both playing it straight. Legacy40k
Fair enough... :whistling: Well I feel kinda silly now. The only instance where it matters is a marker drone can move and shoot. Markerlights are heavy weapons, drones have jet packs which allow them to move and shoot a heavy weapon.
