faol
Wow nassssty!!!!!!!!!!! -_- -_- what bug is that from why in the name of nurgle is it that big!? As far as painting something like that maybe bleach bone - elf flesh mix or a bleach bone - white mix maybe a wash of brown or chestnut ink to make it look a touch dirty gloss varnish to give it that wet look Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202175-how-to-paint-maggots/#findComment-2409347 Share on other sites
SquigBait
Wow thats a big maggot... Anyways, here is the gist of what you will need to do. Base the maggot skin areas in a pale blue and add veins in a darker blue. Once that has dried take your bleached bone and you will want to make a glaze out of it. Either add clear gloss medium or Future acrylic floor polish to it and paint on the now translucent glaze over the blue and let it dry. Touch the eyes with gloss black and paint on another layer of clear gloss once everything is dry, maybe even wet-effect, and there you go, slimy maggot skin. I intend to paint my grater deamon of Nurgle in this way.
