The right arm is a modified TL Lascannon arm with autocannons from the Aegis defence line turret. The ammo drums is from the same kit.

The left arm is a missile launcher with a small part from anohther TL LC-arm, the part betwen the arm itself and the gun barrels. The arm looked displaced so it got moved 5mm backwards as well.

Nice Mortiis patteren dread.

The wolfy thing seems somewhat weird on a Dark Angel only Dread.

Page 87 in the SW codex. You dont really think I would model it without knowing I could use it? :tu:

Codex Space Marines allows for the Twin-twin linked autocannon configuration, as does Codex Space Wolves.

Really nice model, I had not thought of using the Aegis defence turret to make a rifle dread. Consider that idea yoinked! :tu:

Nice work!

One thing, though.... If you gonna do "Rifleman -pattern", you should give him AA-radar too!

I did a similar conversion like yours, but with Forge Worlds arms. That was before the Aegis turret was published. I would've gone your way instead of buying FW kit if I've known about the turret.

Nice dread mate, good converting

Nice Mortis patteren dread.

The wolfy thing seems somewhat weird on a Dark Angel only Dread.

Funny though that DA cant arm dreads like that

And behold their was.... Imperial armour vol 2. The DA were the first to be able to use it. Thats why i reffered to Mortis pattern. Although i forgot marines and Wolves could arm it this way as well now.

You telling me they riped somthing els off from one of the chapters and gave it to everybody else?

What? DA get everything ripped off. Bikes as troops characters, terminators as troops characters, mortis dreads and if some rumours from long ago are right then your jetbikes will be given to the GK too.

They may leave us with little but we always have our dresses! ROBES, I mean robes!

Some DA player on this board.

I'm going to punch something hard and unforgiving if they give jetbikes to the GK. The 2nd Company Masters of the Unforgiven chapters have the only jetbikes left in the Imperium, so sayeth the ruler of Bethos, I mean the Dark Angels codex.

Oh wait, forgot this was DA stuff we were talking about. Yeah, it's probably gonna happen.

As for the dread, nice work. I really like the arms. They look good. The first shot makes the Dread look like he has a surfer hairdo, but the dread looks nice. :P

Eh, Space Wolves had their Ven Dred snatched up, had our 13th company teleport spell taken away and given to Ultrasmurfs too. They kidnapped all our Lemon Russ tanks and gave them back to the IG.

Guys - back on topic please...

I love that conversion - thhough I always feel that the Mortis pattern lacks teh balance of other dreads being TOO symmetrical, maybe longer legs e.g. from the Chaos Dread or Sentinel would make a difference... And yea, an AA radar is a MUST for the Rifleman dread... similarly you probably need to have a more flush cockpit as well, but all good otherwise :-)

And also templars got the crusader taken from them to share with the other kids at the space marine nursery.

I think the aegis turret is a godsend, and you've proved why  not for its own use, but for converions it is great
