Olgerth Istaarn
Since priestly configurations must be diverse, it might be very helpful to know who's got what powers. Anyone has any snappy ideas for indicating that? I'm toying with modifying bases to look like something heroclix-like, but it's all in a conceptual stage right now... Korraz
Well, my priests are converted and I just painted their names on their bases. Works for me. If you want to go over 9000, you could sculpt them the powers, though. Living Lightning = Lightnings from the hands, etc... Or just have the models look different enough you can tell them apart easily, possibly by putting a short descriptor on the list for each priest. Though the best option really is to model their powers because thats just damn cool Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202310-how-do-you-tell-the-rune-priests-apart/#findComment-2410623 Share on other sites

Stormshrug
Well, my priests are converted and I just painted their names on their bases. Works for me. If you want to go over 9000, you could sculpt them the powers, though. Living Lightning = Lightnings from the hands, etc... I did this - it's not too hard. A bit of greenstuff and some wire can create a pretty convincing lightning bolt. Take a few pieces of wire, attach them at one end, then greenstuff over that end and create an appropriate-looking burst of energy. Bend the wires a bit so they travel in zigzag patterns (it's actually good if they all take different paths to the "burst" at the tip). Then just paint it the appropriate color, have it come jetting out of your Rune Priest's hand, and you're set. Were my models not in storage right now, I would post pics. -Stormshrug Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202310-how-do-you-tell-the-rune-priests-apart/#findComment-2410688 Share on other sites
Freman Bloodglaive
I just use different models (mainly old Librarians with staffs) and remember what I gave them. But then I don't take too many, I think two are the most I've taken at one time. Grey Mage
I usually only take one, so its not an issue. When I take the second one, hes on a bike so.... But really Id name them, like I name all my characters, and assign the powers that way.
