Guest Mordray
Well I can't help with names directly but I can suggest staying the well away from Templar... penny a chapter they be... almost as many "Templar X" or "X Templar" chapters as their are all other chapters combined... kind of disturbing really... Jarl Bloodwolf
Well I think a little more information is needed on your chapter before names can be given as there were many types of knights of differant orders. For instance if you had a chapter whos members specialised in using flame weapons you could call the Knights Draconian. michaelsmith
Does this help they are a Raven guard succesor chapter that specialises in drop pod assaults which strike at the heart of the enemy and use a lot of dreadnoughts and devastator squads Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202345-knightly-names/#findComment-2411087 Share on other sites
Jarl Bloodwolf
I think there is a RG successor chapter call the Raven Knights or the Knights of the raven or something like that but I dont know the fluff for the chapter so you may want to look into it. But based off of your army comp it sounds like you are going for a chapter that favors quick, heavy hitting hammer blows instead of the surgical precission of their parent chapter so you could follow along the hammer lines and call them something like the Knights of Black Hammer or the Iron Hammers (something along those lines). Or you could go with something related to the Raven Guard themselves and have the Knights of Corax or the Corvus Knights, you could even call them the Order of the Raven. Hope these help Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202345-knightly-names/#findComment-2411124 Share on other sites

Rymeer
I really like the sound of Corvus Knights sounds good I think I will use that name for my chapter now I have to get my background for my chapter Corvus Knights... humm... Crow Warriors? Isn't Corvus one of the Southern Constelations? a Crow? Interesting choice, I admit. Go for it. Jarl Bloodwolf
The scientific name for a raven is corvus corax. Hince the inspiration for both the RG primarch Corax and the Corvus Knights. And yes Corvus is a constellation You should have their battle cry be "NEVER MORE" hahaha Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202345-knightly-names/#findComment-2411177 Share on other sites
