Magna-grapple

Greetings,

I am busy building a Furioso dreadnought using the venerable dread kit ang the Forgeworld CCW arms. I was thinking about adding a magna-grapple to the dread, but I am not sure how to model it. I was looking at something akin the the Ironclads HK missile launchers, but changing the missile to something more grapple-like.

Has anyone built a magna-grapple and if so, how did you do it and what parts did you use? (If you can provide pics, that even better ;) )

This one is questionable, and replaces one of the CC arms for some reason.

This one's cooler, but also replaces the CC arm, which I don't think is correct. But I could be wrong.

Look at the third Dread down, my favorite so far.

 

And I'm sure there's more out there but I'm done procrastinating at work, so you can look around and let me know what you find. ^_^
