i want to make a conversion of ragnar as the high king of the space wolves. i would use logan's rules for real games to run my wolfwing

and i would make up some home rules for friendly games

what i was wondering is weather the master of the wolves has to use the axe morkai

after reading the books i feel like ragnar would probably use terminator armour but would never give up his frost blade because of how important it is to his history

my idea was to use a plastic terminator with the wolf cape (black obliously) and use the head and frost blade from ragnar's model and a storm bolter on his left arm.

add streaks of grey to the black hair to show the burden of leadership

for the charecter sheet

keep logans stat line

for special rules replace ditch eternal warrior( this is to balance out adding incredible reflexes), replace stubborn with furious charge.

for special rules add the incredible reflexes rule (4+ ivul save)

the high king rule stays but replace relentless with furious charge to represent ragnar's impetuosity

replace living legend with "in the shadow of greatness"

discription:ranar's desire to live up to logan's legacy inspires his allies to rush into the fray

once per game ragnar lets out a howl and all units within 18" gain furious charge for the rest of the player turn

Ragnar is a spot on Wolflord but he needs a lot more seasoning to even be close to being considered for Great Wolf. Not to say your proposal is wrong or even off in the least. Though that may be why you havent recieved much of a reply.

I am curious as to why you ditched eternal warrior though?

Logan has a belt of russ, which is exactly the same thing as Inc. Reflexes.

Honestly if you want to make a Ragnar stat line for home use, i would just give him Runic Armor and Eternal warrior(added to his current rules), along with 75 more points and call it good. If your trying to say he loses his inner fire with age, then dull down the charge bonus to +2 (so he's more reliable but has less potential) and replace warrior born with majesty, if you did those two changes along with the first two i would say add 25 points instead of 75 and call him good.
