Brother Caleb
I'm having trouble seeing the benefits of bounding leap if you roll 3d6 and pick the highest. I seek enlightenment. stinkenheim
basically no one likes rolling a one on their fleet roll, this makes hormagaunts reliably quick in any terrain (move through cover and 3D6 run mean likelihood of rolling high is increased) but not quite as quick as they were when they were beasts. Isiah
I'm not sure what you're asking for, but: It means Nids (say Hormagaunts) can roll 3 dice, pick the dice with the highest number, and use that as their 'Leap' run move distance. The benefit being they are not stuck with whatever distance a single D6 roll turns up with on a normal Run throw. Is that what you were asking for?? Brother Caleb
Thanks guys. My buddy who plays Nids used the rule as though it modified his movement phase and not his run. I'm not sure I want to correct him. :tu: Kidding, I'm going to let him know. stinkenheim
just to limit confussion, 'Bounding Leap' only applies to Hormagaunts, not to all tyranids. My knowledge of the Nids book is a little hazy.
