How to paint vehicles?

I need some help on how to paint my vehicles using my Chapter's paint scheme.

Now how do I transfer this to Land Raiders, Rhinos and so on? What would you suggest?

EDITED: Added new pictures of Rhino WIP. It's nowhere near done. It's just to get a feeling of the paint scheme suggested by people.

Now the question is whether the front armour also should be red. Suggestions?

I'd say find some Blood Ravens vehicles and reverse the colors.

First of all, a tank brush will be your best friend during your painting, trust me.

Secondly, how about (on a Land Raider) red doors and assault ramp, with everything else the other colour?

Same for a Rhino but top hatch is red instead of the ramp.

Both suggestions are good and I like them both. Now I just have to pick one of them. ;)

Here's a quick picture of it so far.

Base coated black, then skeleton bone. Then painted areas blood red.

Yes, I know. It's not even done past stage crap. ^_^

The red's far too bright at this point. Wash it down once with Thrakka Green and then once more with Baal Red/Thrakka Green 1:1 (Green opposes Red on a color chart, so green is really nice for shading - I use it all the time with my berzerkers)

For the tracks, I'd paint it boltgun metal, followed by several washed of devlen mud then drybrush the armour above and around it with graveyard earth.
