Grimtooth
I was cleaning up my gaming bags and found one of opponents lists and double checked it and the guy was over points and had illegal options. Bah I say, BAH!!!! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202675-bah-i-need-to-check-lists-better/ Share on other sites
Emperor's Scourge
Any way you could let the venue know after the fact? Would be a shame if he took a top spot. Grimtooth
Naw, he didn't place and would not have affected final spots anyway. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202675-bah-i-need-to-check-lists-better/#findComment-2415420 Share on other sites
Ryzouken
I so wish I could find a gaming group in my region that wasn't WAAC. Ah well. Trust no one. Check everything. It's the only way to CYA at a major tournament. Treat your opponents as hostile unless proven otherwise at major tournaments. The problem I see was this guy had both heavies on his carnifexes which I am about 100% sure is not allowed. If so, they are indeed Heavy Support and as no model exist for them, many choose to convert them out of the basic 'fex kit. He has two carnifex broods, one of them were his cc brood and the other was a shooting brood. The shooting brood had both heavy ranged weapons on them where the codex tells you to pick one for all models in the brood. So during his shooting phases, I was taking two large template blasts and two small template blasts from his shooting carnifex brood.
