Taking inspiration from a thread in the templar sub-forum, post a some fluff about whoever leads your army. It can be the Chapter Master, just the Captain you use the most, favourite Lord/sorcerer etc. Images optional.

I'm finishing some on my Captain, Dark Master Kronos Nightshade and will post soon.

Iron-Command Gideon Tekton is the Clan Chief of Clan Company Shologar of the Iron Hands Chapter. A member of the Chapter for over six hundred years, Tekton has had over 80% of his body mechanized in accordance with the Iron Hands' beliefs in the weakness of flesh and the purity of metal. He is rumored to be physically bonded to his suit of Tactical Dreadnought Armor, which is a rare example of the Heresy-era Cataphract-pattern recovered from the charnel fields of Istvaan V. He carries the Iron Fist, an over-charged thunder hammer, and a storm shield.

Tekton earned his captaincy during his long years leading the Tactical and Sternguard squads of his Clan Company in combat, and even attended Techmarine training on Mars though he lacked the proper oratory skills to become a true Iron Father. He has, however, been able to make several small improvements to the technical quality of the standard Astartes-pattern boltgun. As a wearer of a rare suit of Terminator armor, Tekton's presence on the field of battle inspires his troops, his stalwart refusal to backdown in the face of even overwhelming odds serving as an example to all those who fight at his side. The massive amount of bionic reconstruction he has undergone throughout his long years of service has also made him exceptional tough, and he has been known to take direct hits from lascannons and warp-entities alike without showing any pain.

He is my counts-as for Lysander. I don't have a model whipped up yet due to being deployed, but I'm going to use the pre-Heresy Morlock Termie guide done by. . . the name escapes me. . . one of the guys at FTW blogging, Lysander's hammer and shield (with the fists painted an appropriate metallic, of course), and extensive bionic replacements courtesy of clipped guitar wire and brass rod. One idea I'm toying with is instead of a head or helmet, to snag a skull off of a WFB skeleton sprue and paint it up metallics to represent that his entire head has been replaced with bionics, with his brain alone nestled comfortably within the adamantium skull.

Lord Reven Zaraki, chapter master of the Blazing Angels. Due to the relatively young age of the chapter, Reven is only the second person to hold the rank of chapter master. By astartes standards he is young, but he has the sharpest tactical mind of the Blazing Angels, and has lead them to many great victories over the enemies of man. Unlike the other members of his chapter Reven wears totally black artificer armour. This has lead to his men nick naming him the "Black Angel". He is armed with the Blade of Curdia, a sword of remarkable craftmanship, and an infernus pistol.

Reven Zaraki is one of the few noteworthy individuals not recruted from the Hive cities of the Blazing Angels home plannet Curdia. He rose to the rank of Chapter Master shortly after the death of the first Chapter Master through the proces known to the Blazing Angels as the Harrowing. The Harrowing is the Blazing Angels rite of passage, and consits of three tests conducted by the chapters chaplains and Sanguinary priests. It is usually conducted as a test to see if a marine is fit for captancy, so using it to test the Chapter Master candidates seemed like the logical solution to see who would succede the first chapter master. Reven, along with Kenpachi Mazaki (curent captain of the 1st company), were the only ones to pass the high standards set for all three tests. The two would end up dueling for the position, with Reven besting Kenpachi after three days of brutal fighting.

He is my "count as" for Dante of the Blood Angels! I will most likely use the Dante body, but with a different jump pack (i want those new wings!) and i think i will replace his head... i am not a big fan of his mask.

Kronos is the youngest of the Chapter's Dark Masters, having been a full Space Marine only three centuries. Of those centuries he has lead the 3rd Company for just over one hundred and thirty years, and yet he hold the respect of which many elder Astartes recieve. He was native of the Chapter homeworld of Invalice, like the Chapter Master himself, and spent a lot of time using a scythe rather than the traditional sword and shield combination of the planet. He say himself as being a reaper, tasked with collecting the souls of those without honour or value. However when Kronos faces an enemy who holds honour with a high regard he will engage them one-on-one is a duel of skill. He has only lost once to an Eldar with black armour who weilded a scythe-like cannon. Upon being granted the mantle of Dark Master of one of the Angels of Shadow's Companies, he was gifted with a new scythe, Darklight. To this day Darklight has claimed many souls of the enemies of Mankind and Kronos has lead the Company with much honour and victory.

I currently do not have a model for Kronos, instead using a different Captain at the moment. I will get one after I finish my Chaos commanders.

Chapter Master Eugenio Burgos

Chapter Master Burgos is the current commander of the Chapter, having ascended to the position after Chapter Master Ruis fell in a campaign against the Necrons. Prior to that, Burgos rose to fame during the Scouring of Costa Verde where, isolated from the rest of the Chapter's deployed company when their drop pod veered off-course, he and his squad set upon the convoys that supplied the secessionists in that region. Before Squad Burgos rejoined the rest of their Battle Company many months later, they had accounted for numerous armor kills, the greatest of which was the rebel Baneblade identified as Sigrun's Gauntlet.

Relatively slight of built for a space marine, first-time observers are often taken aback by his strikingly elegant facial features and slanted eyes, so out of place in one of the so-called Angels of Death. Burgos is thoughtful, and many of his battle-brothers find him a little reserved, but none doubt his tactical acumen, as well as his prowess with the sword. Although he knows the contents of the Codex Astartes (at least, the one brought long ago by Chapter Master Antonius) by heart, he follows a more conservative approach to force deployment, with his goal still the complete recovery of the Chapter's forces. He gives his Company Captains free reign when it comes to interpreting and executing the tactics found in the Codex, but during large-scale engagements he has the final say on how the Chapter's forces are deployed. During these occasions Burgos personally leads squads of Veterans in raids, all the while directing the ebb and flow of his Chapter's attacks akin to a master conductor overseeing an orchestra, except for the fact that the symphony he conducted brought death to those who opposed his forces.

The Chapter Master's signature weapon is the Ochstan Particle-Accelerator Rifle, an ancient and rather temperamental piece of technology that seems to predate the founding of the Imperium. Once used by Chapter Master Diego Albark, the weapon's awesome power make it suited to taking out heavily-armored targets and hulking monstrosities, but its reliability is hampered by an unstable and very temperamental power source that is always in danger of harming its user.
