Vairocanum
i was working on re-gluing a daemon prince i got off my friend when i knocked over the super glue bottle. i have very little glue left so i just took off the cap and used a toothpick to get to the glue. anyways, when the super glue it made a good sized blotch on the carpet. i got most of it off the surface but now its that spot is really hard and is stuck together. has this happened to anyone before and if so how did you fix it? Wicksy
That could be difficult to do. I spilt glue on my bed covers (never model in bed :) ) and i used stuff called Decon 90 to remove it. Decon 90 is a special cleaner for laboratories. It gets anything off glassware eventually. Put it this way, it'll de-laminate two surfaces glued together with epoxy resin! You may struggle to find it but this is the best thing i can suggest other than maybe dabbing it with acetone, but that may damage the carpet. chromedog
Acetone is the best solvent for Superglue, but it should be used sparingly and dabbed onto the spill area. Wash with soapy water afterwards. It may (probably will) leach colour from the carpet (depending on the dyes used).
