I can't be bothered to meticulously go through the tedious process of checking on the BC SM Painter for paint combinations

so can you guys give me some help on what colours go well in terms of colour combinations.

 

here is the sort of thing I'm after :

Black + Red - works very well but is over used in terms of so many armies painted like that

DA Green + Red - very tedious to paint but looks alright in the end

 

White + Silver - I want ideas on that one I'm thinking about that at the moment

 

If this is pointless let me know but I think that this might help - for novices like me :)

Whatever you do, don't use too many different colours or make your scheme too 'busy' or garish.

spose it is a bit vague

well I'm doing a RG and Templar cross over chapter

and I'm simply looking for colour combinations that work - mainly blue,white,silver,gold,black or red - they the only main colours I'm thinking of for my army - other colours for decoration e.g. green eyes - maybe - but it was an open thing for people saying what colours they think work well together etc
