Isryion
I'm currently in the process of converting and assembling my Honor Guard. Before I did I wanted to ask a question: As I read it, I can have meltagun and powerfist on the same model. A bit expensive, no doubt, but I'm trying to maximize number of attacks I get from such a small unit. No other unit can be configured like this, so I wanted to make sure -- I'm assuming it's the same as taking a boltgun on a PF DC? Thanks!
JamesI
Sure its legal, and can look cool too. I had one in my HG until I took apart my Hg to build a Vanguard with the models.

wookielips
thats actually a great use of a model. since you dont get the extra attack from having a bolt pistol in the off-hand from the powerfist, thats the best place to put the MG/PG/SS keep the IP/FP on models with chain/powerswords. Law
I'm going to be running a PF/MG in my HG too. I'm intending to have the same mini carry a Chapter Banner too, but just trying to figure out how to model it without it being overloaded and ugly. Law
Wow, dynamic pose. I'd just been thinking of ways to "strap" the MG on his back or something, yours is much better.
BrotherMoses
Love the model WFI. The only thing I don't like is that that model alone costs like 73 pts. Even more for a jump pack and if thats a chapter banner. If there is one place where expensive models might be cool though it would be in an honour guard though so kudos. I did it, use the banner from the Sanguinary Guard in the left hand, the sanguinary guard powerfist in the right and a meltagun strapped to his leg. Since he is now my sergeant in my Vanguard, he's since lost the Banner and the meltagun.

Also,it is a good thing if you are expecting the unit to take heavy losses. This way,you can prolong the period of having the special weapon and special cc weapon for as long as possible. the only time it would be a bad thing,is against someone with a Vindicare assassin, since they can target any specific model in a unit and shoot them. So as long as you avoid IG,SoB and Grey knights, and those that take them as allies (not many granted) you will be fine.
