ant1clock
I discovered a gift shop here in Scotland that at one time must have been duped into selling GW stuff. They have a rack of GW paints sitting gathering dust and they have all the old colours. Tentacle pink is completly gone but they have pretty much everything else. I started collecting last year so I have only heard rumours about the missing paints. TP being one of them. I have already purchased the Chestnut ink, the red ink, midnight blue, scally green and bad moon yellow, just because I could, but are there any of the old paints that I really must have apart from these. Cheers ant1clock

ant1clock
@ Tropicana Thanks for that, google himm I might try that new fangled search technology a try, looks like the devils work to me though. However what I wanted to know was are there any of the discontinued paints that the discerning BA painter cannot do without. ant1clock

Red - can you not find, in a suitable Blood Angels Shade, in Modern Paint Ranges, that you would have to seek out Discontinued ones? So no, there are no Discontinued Paints that you will find yourself needing.
Rejects of Anvilus
Brazen Brass, I cannot find a colour which is as nice as it in any other range, and i have tried. Luckily i still have a stock of it, but one day it will be gone and i will no longer be able to happily paint up any more Grey Knights, which will knowing my luck be just when they bring out some exciting new models :D

Magenta ink is the thing I miss with great sadness. I use chestnut ink for shading skin, bones, and parchment, as well as for washing my Guard tanks and Nurgle Marines. I love that stuff. So sad that it not longer exists... The new washes are nice, but they aren't the same. ;)
