Moxsis
Hey guys, I primed a few mondels with black, and for an undisclosed reason I wish I had primed them white. Can I just spray white over the black? Or do I need to strip it first? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202989-primer-over-primer/ Share on other sites
Red Fury
Yes you can. But you are adding another layer and will be a step closer to loosing detail. Other than the extra paint, there is no real problem. -Fury Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/202989-primer-over-primer/#findComment-2419548 Share on other sites
Gurth
And the white probably isn't going to cover as well over the black as it would over the bare plastic or metal of the model. Don't spray thick coats to try and make it cover — that will only lead to even more detail being obliterated. Instead, spray a thin coat and wait for it to dry, then repeat (possibly several times) if necessary.
