Godhead
What super heavy would be fitting of the wolves besides a thunderhawk, and perhaps a titan? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203074-omgsuper-heavies-in-a-non-apoc-game/ Share on other sites

Thunderhawk3015
I wouldn't bother to be honest, your opponent gets 1 penetrating hit before the game even starts with it. Better to use a formation that provides more flexability without eating up so many points in my opinion. Azatoth
Why would a Titan be especially fluffy for Space Wolves, even if it a Warhound? Also you have to consider that keeping the unit offtable to prevent the automatic hit, may give you trouble if you try to enter the table and are unable to move the model fully onto the table on its turn. Baneblades for example seem to be pretty unable to do that, even it turned sideways. And please NO discussions if the shield could be applied against that autohit. Grey Mage
A Fellblade- take one of the Baneblade variants, I think the shadowsword is most appropriate personally, and give it the +1 BS upgrade for 100pts, paint it up in SW colors, and Voila! you have a tank thats been with the chapter since before the heresy, mothballed most of the time but brought out for this particularly horrendous theatre of war. Quillen
Yeah a felBlade would be a good option. I have one. Of course if it's appoc you can have just about anything, and I can see the SpaceWolves using anything they can take. You know...something has occured to me. A Wolf whose name I can't remember has as his signature "Remember, not everyone came out of the womb holding a stein and yelling "For Russ" or something very close to that. And now I finally understand what he meant. He was talking about people who are not Grey Mage. That was totally off topic, but the sheer amount of knowledge about Space Wolves that Grey Mage has showed has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for your time,This has been a public service announcement from the WolfWhiz Ale Company. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Thread. Decoy
(Actually, Requiem, that was about me and my boisterous, sometimes-borderline, sometimes-over-the-line howling, rampaging support of the Wolves as superior over every other lesser chapter. Fairly spot on about Mage, though, when I think about it. :) ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203074-omgsuper-heavies-in-a-non-apoc-game/#findComment-2421163 Share on other sites
commander alexander
Somewhere..... In the depths of the Apocalypse Datafax forum.... I think there is a titan I made that may be in there, it was back when a was really into DIY. I think it was called the Lion-Pattern War Titan I think. Anyways if I find it or one of you do, you may want to look at. Think Star Wars Clone Wars quadra-ped walkers, but wolfy ;) ===Edit=== Ah, here it is. Boy looking at it again is making me think that it was a pretty silly idea ;) .
