Cpt. Salvatore
It surely is (this pic is my desktop rightnow:D) but the conversion would be rather hard...can'T wait to see results.
Somar
IMO he looks a bit too bulky. i always pictured the primarchs wearing non-powered armor because their strength negates the need to have it artificially motivated. just a tight fitting suit of armor made from advanced materials that offer good protection but are light enough to fly around in in the case of ol sangy. the dude on the pic looks great but too much like a DA or BT in red armor. that is of course just my opinion and if you were to make a model like that it would still be very cool. Krucious Arkanadae
It surely is (this pic is my desktop rightnow:D) but the conversion would be rather hard...can'T wait to see results. Im thinking of using the dark angels chapter master helmet for the winged helmet, cut the mouth piece so it looks more grey knight'ish Maybe use pegasus wings, and FW blood angel termi shoulder pads. And maybe kit bash the sanguinary guard. The only think that would be really hard to reproduce is how massive the shoulder armor is without looking rididculous and how thin the body armor is, its not bulky like most marines. The helmet is working quite right I'd say.The shoulderpads too,or maybe stick with classical PA ones?It will be smaller but more consistent? With what i am concerned are the wings and the legs.those I cannot figure. The pegasus ones are too different angle,i have one of these at home on my chappy... Krucious Arkanadae
Hmm true... i could try the sanguinor wings? As for the legs i could use some green stuff modeling.
Cpt. Salvatore
Yeah, green stuff...and what about Calgar legs?I do not remember them exactly but don't they have some eagles like that on them?If i am right, they might provide good base. And sanguinor is again totally off angle, too low.The wings are going to cause much trouble, seems like i'll start some serious search on that topic... daboarder
pegasus wings! they are the perfect size.
Cpt. Salvatore
pegasus wings! they are the perfect size. If you look upwards, we discussed them and, though they are perfectly sized, they are absolutelly off the angle... Though some extensive cutting and green stuff work migh thelp here... Also while that picture is cool according to all sources it is very far from the styling that sanguinius is depicted to have. Also that power armour is quite new in its design, that armor wasnt around during the days of the primachs so on that alone is historically inaccurate. Always did like that picture, even if it is without him in his golden armor with the Eye of Terra you see in all the official pictures. Its just so awesome. Made even more awesome by the fact that he is, alone, orders of magnitude more menacing than the horde surrounding him. None of them want to end up like the Daemonette, so there is a standoff. Captain Idaho
That picture is amazing. I love the way all the forces of darkness are closing in yet his stance says "come on then, I'm not bothered"
