Necron God
Right hello again! I have a Imperial Guard Lightning Forgeworld aircraft plane! Now they used to be able to be used with ANY space marine force... But cant find where it says they can be used with space marines or in my case space wolves.. so can they be used? and where in the rules (IA) does it say we can use them? Grey Mage
They are "vehicles of the imperium" not IG etc. SWs are an imperial force, thus you can use them. As always with FW items though its opponents consent. Particularly since its a flyer wich brings in so many extra rules to the game! Iron Father Rik
As Grey Mage said, if you are using the Forge World rules, it's opponents consent. If you are using the Apocalypse rules, well then it's not really an issue since in Apocalypse you can use anything, and also Apocalypse is designed for things like flyers in huge battles. stinkenheim
i assume this is another reference to Spearhead. flyers are not great (at least the experience i had with them prior to Apoc). they are too expensive for what they do and to me don't fit well with a space marine theme. for my guard on the other hand i used to love my thunderbolt... ahh good old Dirge, my flight ace Stick to landspeeders or a LS tempest if you want marine 'flyers' imo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203128-ia-aircraft/#findComment-2421393 Share on other sites
