RagingGriffon
Fellow Astartes, I seem to remember a Tzeentch force attacked Fenris and Bjorn led the defense. I looked in the new Codex, and there is no mention of it, I check the Lexicanum and no dice either. I am pretty sure it was a 2nd ed. book that mentioned this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! WeWillBuryYou
This is the main reason I believe the space wolves chapter is still sized relatively close to legion strength. How else would they be able to fight off the entire KSons legion. Obviously home turf and being on the defensive played a factor, but the space wolves must have a whole lot of marines to repel an assault from a legion strength attacker. Also, one 'skeleton' force was enough to hold them off for fourty days, a full seige by the thousand sons, which would be quite a force... Lord Ragnarok
Remember, there were not as many Tsons left after we dined on them at Prospero, and they would have been part of Horus' siege of Terra further impacting their losses. WeWillBuryYou
Surely they have someway of replenishing the ranks. Otherwise simply by attrition there would no longer be a Thousand Sons Legion left. Or is this simply a plot hole i just stepped in. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203167-timelinefluff-help/#findComment-2422027 Share on other sites

Otherwise simply by attrition there would no longer be a Thousand Sons Legion left. Or is this simply a plot hole i just stepped in. they have ways of replenishing their ranks I believe, but not many. Plus...the moment you put a wolf in a corner you are going to get a major arse kicking. Were they part of the seige? I dont really doubt it if you've read it somewhere, but from all the background on the SoT I've read, they were absent, similar to how the Word Bearers were messing with Robot Girlyman and his freinds. Vash113
For shame, linking off-site when we have the Librarium right here. Look no further than the Space Wolves: A Comprehensive History.
