Shepherd of the Lost

Recommended Posts

I decided against spending 10 Pounds for a metal model, so I opened by bitzbox and got to "work". I hope you like it. The models needs a bit more polishing to get rid of the glue "hair", but it is more or less ready.

No way, that looks a lot like my new (very wip) Reclusiarch!! Great minds think a like me thinks; although I'm liking yours more :Troops:

Kit bash rules, ignore the base I did say very wip!:-

Here's mine

(And yes right hand will be change to a gauntet)

Anyways, kudos to you beast B) :Elite:

What the hell I posted in this thread earlier and my post has dissappeared.

Anyway I ask again, where did you get the end of the crozius?

Don't get upset. Your previous post is still there, its just in another thread on the same figure (in the WIP forum)

I would like to thank you all for your comments guys. I think that my decision to not buy a ready-made one is vindicated ;).

To your questions:

1) The top of the Crozius is made from the top of the Banner in the Sanguinary Guard box.

2) The body/hilt of the Crozius is from the DC Thunder Hammer.

Hah, thanks JamesI. I apologize for my retarded slip. :)

Now did you find the DC box had a better selection of parts for making HQ's and such than the SG box? I'm thinking of buying a DC box at some point.

It really depends on the HQ you want to build. If you go for a Chappie, I would say that DC is definitely the way to go, although you might need some extra bits. If you go the Librarian/Captain road, then Sanquinary Guard box is more useful. Although, I would say go for both. They are superb kits and they really supplement each other greatly when it comes to kitbashing.
hmm, i like it but im biased, especially as i did this too :P if only i hadnt wanted to use my thunderhammer...

This is why I got two of each box (DC and SG). No shortage of Thunder Hammers or blingies ;) !
