Post your Sanguinary priests here, doesn't need to be painted, give me some ideas for me next one!

Here's mine, I can't be bothered shelling out for sanguinary priest via direct order, took the photo before the last shoulder pad, with a grail on it, had been glued on

The start of my first JP Sang Priest. Cut the tubes off the plastuc apothecary torso and add them to an assault torso. More pieces to add, shoulder pad with a grail, jump pack, left apothecary arm.

Slightly modified Corbulo:

To the OP, like the model, impressive GS-Fu, but throne! That accursed red background! I pray to the red angel that my eyes shall recover...

Is the background realy that bad?

Almost finished him now, i'll replace images when done, with no red background to save your eyes, the green stuff was sculpted with a craft knife (weird I know)

Brother Dvorn

To be honest, most of mine I'm not very proud of; they're mostly marines armed in the appropriate way with knives strapped to their arms to look like the necessary medical implements and as much extra bling as I can manage. This chap, who is officially my 'counts as' Corbulo (though he doubles as a Priest on a regular basis), is, however, one of my favourite personal conversions; nice and simple, yet I would view it as effective. I would have painted him by now but I'm still working on my skills and don't wish to spoil a model I'm happy with!

Ah Loki73, that model is beautiful! You used the special BA Vanguard Veteran Sergant model didn't you? I recognize the pose and sword.

The Sanguinary jetpack works really well with the pose, giving the Priest a real "Angel from on high" appearance, like he's just descended from the heavens and is bring his blade down upon the hapless foe. That said, I can't help but picture the Sanguinor's jump pack would have fitted the pose more with it's spread-out wings and iron halo.

Still though, beautiful work brother!

Here is a Sanguinary priest from my Flesh tearers army. I wanted it to have lots of battle damage since he is supposed to be where the fighting is most fierce, helping his battle brothers. And he would make a priority target for the enemy. However, I might have overdone it a little bit...

I love the FT one.. the damage is not really overdone at all and it adds a lot of character to the model.

Also the more bone color instead of white really fits the FT.

Just a question: for the tool/chalice. What options are there really in bits from metal models that fit well/easilly or crafting your own from what sources?
