Flesh Tearers' vessels

Recommended Posts

Just as the title suggests, does anyone know any names for any of the Flesh Tearers' naval vessels? Particularly for Strike Cruisers?

I have built and painted a BFG Strike Cruiser to go along with the Flesh Tearers force that I am building (as well as a Battle-barge and another Strike Cruiser for my main Sons of Medusa force), and I was hoping to find a name for it from a known Flesh Tearers' ship.

Thanks in advance.

In the novel "Black Tide" (The fourth book in James Swallow's Blood Angel Series) he mentions the ship The Gabriel named after chapter master Gabriel Seth

Hmm... Is that a Blood Angels ship though, or a Flesh Tearers ship? I've not read the novel so I don't know the context of that.

And cheers guys for the Victus. I was mostly looking for some Strike Cruiser names, if indeed there are any known, though it's good to know about their Battle-barge too.

It isn't actually specified as the name of a ship, it is just a vision that Mephiston has of an actual sea-faring ship with a black sail bearing a saw toothed circle and a blood drop hearing the name Gabriel. It represents the fact that Gabriel Seth has sent a message to them.

In truth, pg61 of Black rage references both the Blood angels vessel Tycho and its Flesh tearer counterpart Gabriel specifically

The vision referred to is just one of the many ways to explain the Psyker Mephiston conceptualising the vessel bringing the message... projecting his own mental reference points and intellectual structures onto the to create the mental construct of a sail ship in place of one that is analogous but sails a sea of stars/the warp which is actually the Strike cruiser Gabriel

A similar explaination is given to explain how the psychic navigators view the warp via means of concepts some seeing it as a forest path to travel down which is sometime overgrown... others a river sometimes fast running other times full of rapids and hazards.
