The Son of Russ
Well Paulson. I am glad to say i have decided to buy the modoels off of you instead of Mr dandy, i still do not think there is anything wrong with them but your wolves are actual wolves. And the prices are better, and is there like a discount for a pack of 3? would be perfect as i am planning to get 5 TWC and a thunderlord. Ash Tekka
I'm interested in how much a pack of 3 would run as well. They are very sharp looking and would love to use them to make a pack to run around eating people. CainTheHunter
They are really neat. Are You going to give some discounts for packs of 5 as well, like You did with packs of 3? Any chance for 60mm textured bases as well (at an extra price)? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203593--/page/3/#findComment-2451855 Share on other sites
hmk17
Micro Art just released theirs today. And they have 2 sculpts... but each wolf is clocking in at 21.96 euros, making them roughly $27 US each. Ouch... http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/images/Miniatures/Miniature_Great_Wolf_1.jpg http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/images/Miniatures/Miniature_Great_Wolf2_1.jpg While a great size (Rhino length and 3/4 the height) and the fact that they look like actual wolves, nothing cartoony... that price is going to kill a lot of orders. I might be able to afford one or two down the road, but not the units I was hoping for. While a little smaller, Paulson's wolves have a nice lean rangy look to them and again, they look like wolves. If there's a decent package deal, he looks like he might be the winner. Grie Velorn
Wow I must say I was in love with Mr Dandy's wolves but after seeing yours and the price being relatively the same, I am going to have to go with your wolves. hmk17
Cram your fake indignity, Wiplash. We all knew the Micro Art Studios ones were coming as they had been discussed here. Guess what, so has EVERY OTHER OPTION. The wolves sold on ebay have been linked extensively, where's your comments there? Mr. Dandy got mentioned a lot, you pissed there too? Nope, doesn't seem so. I point out that they did make two sculpts, and show them. I also point out that 1 model is about 3/4 the price of Canis. Don't know what crawled up your butt on this one... Since, you didn't quote the part where I said that Micro Art's cost was prohibitive and that package deal by Paulson Games would win him those customers (Which he has a decent package posted for 3). It means you missed it entirely or you are just looking for a fight. Considering that the OP picked up on my comment at the bottom, you might want to check again. Since you missed it last time, I will spell out what I was saying... again. Paulson has a great looking product here. His only competition on non-cartoony looks priced themselves out of the game. While a package deal for 5 wolves would be great, he's got a solid deal already on shipping so that also makes him a great value too. Given time, you'll be seeing his replace Mr. Dandy as the standard. Bikeninja
I for one like variety. I am looking at the budget to get some of these (Paulsons). I already have the 5 Mr. Dandy's and I love them. Micro Arts looks ok but would like to see it with it a rider. Very classy of Paulson though to welcome other models and perspectives. That is important. Just my one & half cents. The Son of Russ
I love you guys. lol. Um yeah Paulson you mentioned something about shipping different bases and bitz out? is this extra to be payed or does it come free? Natanael
Thanks to everyone that's picked some up, I'm going to try and get them out a few days early if I can. I also have been listening to the various email and posts so you guys can expect to see some add on armor for the wolves, a 60mm base, and possibly some bionic heads. It'll be a bit before I can tackle them but they are on the table for things I want to get done. Q: With "add on armour for the wolves" do you mean new sculpts with more armour? So if I want more armour, I should just wait? Q: Will it be possible to buy your wolves later this summer, or early autumn? 'Cause I wont get my summer pay until then, and would really like to have some of your wolves. Thank you. Nice sculpts ;) - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/203593--/page/3/#findComment-2455009 Share on other sites
