Thunder Wolves, Jetpacks & Libby Dread

Recommended Posts

Here's some WIP shots of thunderwolves I had comissioned, thought I'd see what type of feedback you guys might have.

They are sculpted in Fimo. Theya re about 80& done, still need to get saddles and have some of the details cleaned up a bit. 3 differant bodies and 3 interchangeable heads so that'd allow for 9 differant poses. When finished they'll be cast in resin.

These aren't my personal work, but are comissioned sculpts I'll be producing.

Awseome!

And if you are making moulds and selling remember

"They are not thunderwolves, they are simply large wolf sculpts that I thought looked cool and I wanted them to be able to have a rider. Not thunderwolves"

Avoid the IP hammer, fight the power!

Oh yeah completely there. These will be branded simply as "monsterous riding wolves". If players want to call them thunderwolves and stick space marines on them that's totally their own call :P

Just about the final update, everything is 99% done, all that's left is to add a small set of stirrups to PA legs and the parts will be off to casting. Provide there's no hidden setbacks it's looking like these are going to be ready by the end of the month.

These are the optional orks legs:

Now those are some Thunderwolves I might actually want to buy, haven't been keen on the eye before and haven't seen any Wolf sculpts I liked but those are pretty darn cool!

Here's a WIP shot of a more standard jump pack I'm working on, recycled the engine piece from my original winged jet pack and added extra engines o give it a more powerful feel. I'll be adding the rivets where the black dots are, after that it should be ready to cast.

The molds for the power scythes are just about done and they should be posted up on my site early next week.

Here's a major comission project I've been holding back for almost two months, been a long painful wait not being able to show this badboy off until now. The sculptor is just about done and these are the WIP shots he sent. The bits are designed to be added to the standard ironclad kit so that it can be teched out into a Libby Dread. Parts are made from sculpty, greenstuff, plasticard and fimo.

Drool away. B)
