Spearhead and practical experience

The name of the expansion is Spearhead. The WD release of Spearhead features a ton of new tanks. The data sheets of Spearhead are full of tanks. And you complain that you lost because you didn't take any tanks?

Never saw the WD release. Only saw the Spearhead PDF. Didn't have a choice on what we were playing due to it being the weekly tournament. And I did not complain that I lost because I didn't take any tanks Ramses. I said the idea that allows a full list to be taken from Spearheads is crap. I said that being able to take multiple spearheads in one list,is dubious. Other people have said I lost because I didn't take enough mechanized,I just didn't disagree with them because I don't believe they are wrong. Other people have said I deployed wrong because of what my opponent had on his list,and since again I don't believe they are wrong I didn't disagree. Other people have said I built my list wrong,that I should have had nothing but tanks..and surprisingly enough..I didn't disagree with them because I have no proof they are wrong.

 

I stated that whoever goes second is going to lose. So far no one has disagreed with that point and in fact a couple people have even supported it. I stated that having to play only one kind of list in order to have a decent game,goes against the idea about space wolves and their versatility. So far no one has really disagreed with that either. I stated that Spearhead is not going to be fun for both people playing. and So far no one has disagreed with that either..And as far as it goes,the Data sheets for spearhead involve everything from Tanks to Walkers to Skimmers to Transports to Monstrous Creatures to *shocked expression* Infantry. The closest thing I could see to 'complaining' that I lost because I didn't take any tanks was me saying that clearly I shouldn't have bothered playing in a game where I didn't have the resources to play.

 

So Ramses...stop trying to read posts through the bottom of your Ale mug,reread what I stated before and now,and consider again how you statement came across. And then duck because I am gonna belt ya one *grins*

Actually if I would have gone first,I could have ran over half the cans,shot the rest and most of the deffkoptas too. I still would have lost the Long fangs to the deathrollers,but I would have had most of my army against not much of his. His can's were set up to the point where I could have rammed 3 at a time.

 

But you were right about one thing..I did bring a knife to a gunfight.

Ill let you know when I get to play a couple games... but this sounds like the same gut reaction people had to planetstrike.
