SamaNagol
I have been told that in the book there is an example of a Flesh Tearers Predator. Could someone who owns this take a picture of just that on a camera phone or digital and upload it for me? It is impossible to purchase the book now and no other official examples of FT vehicle colour schemes exist anywhere else. I would be most most grateful. Morticon
Matey - surely you're not asking for rules? Which is against the BnC forum rules. Or..asking other members to post those rules up - also against the forum rules? Surely not? ;) *readies melta*
Blindhamster
looks like he just wants a picture of a picture not of any rules, I can get it for him assuming it's alright with you Mort?
SamaNagol
Yes, I literally JUST want a picture of the Predator colour scheme. No rules. No fluff. Not text. Just a picture of the picture of the Flesh Tearers vehicle, so I can paint mine in the correct scheme.
daboarder
I though index astartes was the background book, not rules.......either way I'm pretty sure he just after the picture of the tank boss.
Pcm979
Imperial Armour v2 is the book you're thinking of, and there is a picture of a Flesh Tearers Baal in it- but the caption underneath says it isn't the vehicle's usual colour scheme. So it wouldn't help you much.
Morticon
Gotcha! Thats fine! (I think)
Lithanial
There's no predator image in the Index Astrates but there is this if you find it useful overall. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u249/Lithanial/DSCN0690.jpg
SamaNagol
I stand corrected, it was Imperial Armour 2. http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt91/SamaNagol/Picture10.png
CBL
If I was to paint some FT Mech, I would do it kinda like this: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_bURHJ-VRewM/S6Fy...00-h/Rhino1.JPG I think I would only paint the black to the first exhaust pipe if i was doing it, to be a little closer to the actuall marine armor paint scheme. However, I will leave it up to you to decide. CBL P.S. I couldn't get the darn image to load, so you will have to browse to the link.

SamaNagol
Yep, so I am back to square 1 when it comes to paint schemes for my tanks!
daboarder
stuff it. If you like the scheme go for it, Personally I'd raise the red shading further up the tank to about halfway and go with that, would replecate the FT marine scheme quite well. SamaNagol
I'm actually pretty sold now on CMON member Jakobus' scheme of an arterial red hull and an all black 'side bits'. Rather than having just the doors/hatches/side sponsons and corner 'shoulder' parts as black. Venerable Jazzman
I like that, although the red's more red than I usually think of for FleshTearers - it's usually more toward Red Gore than Blood Red.
Brother Tyler
Ah, there is a picture of a Flesh Tearers army in the Index Astartes article, and it includes two vehicles (Razorbacks?). They're the older version of the Rhino, but you can easily adjust the scheme for the new Rhino model. I'll scan the image in the morning and post it for you, unless someone else beats me to it (my wife is watching Dexter on that computer, so no can do right now). Pcm979
What, really? Damn, I scoured that frigging book from cover to cover. Which page is it on? Or is there something wrong with my copy?
Terrahawk
Gotta say I love those Flesh Tearer Razorbacks. They look really menacing just as they should! :tu: I think that scheme is a winner for FT vehicles.
SamaNagol
That is in the original White Dwarf article I think.
Firedrake28
I'd forgotten how fugly the old Rhino/Razorback models were. B) Nonetheless, it's good to see an "official" scheme. I'll be sure to completely ignore it for my army. :( The black sides aren't really my thing.
Freeze33
I paint mine with just the sides black, the whole middle is dark red. I will try and post pictures later.
Meracalis
"...painted black for ritualistic reasons..." implies Death Company Death Company Predator? Not likely. Working on three predators, think I'm going to do one up like that.
