Believe it or not the hardest part of this mini to paint was getting the damn brush into the nooks and crannies on the base.

Overall I am VERY pleased with how he has turned out, so what do you guys think was this a success?

That is an extremely nice paintjob and conversion! There are so many different bits in there, I'm going to spend ages working out where it's all from. I see something new on the model every time I look at the pics.

I especially like the "display" base you have chosen. This model just oozes "Fear Of The Dark"

I looked in on your WIP thread for this guy a couple of times and was really impressed by how the mini looked, but seeing it painted I am in awe. An expertly converted piece complemented by a fitting and very well executed paint scheme combine in to a vision of what the sons of Sanguinus would become in this alternate history... success all round I'd say
